Introduction of the target group
Most of the concerned children, especially Roma children, in the project
come from socially disadvantaged settlements. 23 children (55%) in the
nursery school participate permanent child care assisstance.
The present number of the children (around 40) appears permanent for the
future; the rate of Roma and socially disadvantaged children is growing.
The requirements of the target group are determined by the social composition.
The conditions and qualifications of the Roma population is similar to
the other socially disadvantaged regions. More than 50% of the students
participate permanent child care assisstance. In the nursery school this
rate is 35%. In the next years the rate of the Romas is growing. Due to
the children's social circumstances, the unskilled parents these children
should get pre- school education from the age of three to prepare them
for the primary school. Owing to the nursery school is in a critical condition
